I agree!
I have seen that model in two tone in later restorations but they look best in black. We have all seen tuxedos in other colours, but they only should be black!

I’m torn on which suit to get for when I start renting the car (and myself) out for weddings. Maybe I could get both and alternate!

I was originally thinking of this, but now I’m not sure…🤣

I have a couple new questions….

While my car is in the shop for body/paint/upholstery, they are going to let me do some things in parallel. For instance, I will take everything out of the dash and get it sent off to be re-woodgrained. Then, when that comes back, I’ll reinstall everything in the dash and rewire the dash.

So, here are my questions for for when I rewire the dash….

1) Does anyone have a recommendation for where to buy the cotton covered wired?
2) the wiring diagrams for the 120 do not show the cigar lighters. Does anyone know what gauge wire should go to those? I have two…one in the front and one in the rear. It appears that the 1937 Super 8 used 8 gauge wire for the cigar lights. Does that sound right? I know those draw a bit of current.

I plan on simplifying things a bit when I rewire. There are a number of items that call for 16 and 18 gauge where everything else is either 14 or 12. I plan to just use 14 gauge instead of the 16 and 18. The 14 may be overkill for those items, but it will just make it easier in not having to keep track of as much.
