That's good to know. I pulled the core and dropped it off at the radiator place today, so we'll see what they say. If it's bad then I'll probably just leave it alone and delete the under seat heater like you say. It's a bummer because I just finished getting under the dash and fixing the inoperable rear heater switch. Works great now, lol.

Seeing how things have gone so far with the cooling system I'm assuming I will find a leak in the main heater core as well. But I haven't seen that yet so maybe there's hope.

Regardless, I need to replace the missing air duct on the passenger side to get the heater working over there. And rebuild the leaking heater valve also. Thanks Howard for sending the seal. It's on my list to do before I put the front seat back in.
