G'day Eugene M,
![]() I presume you own a Packard into which you intend to install the engine and other parts? In that case I invite you to include your Packard in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

Eugene: Unfortunately, stuff like this is now virtually non-existent. About the only early Single Eight Packards surviving are ones that have been fully restored. The Packard engines you can readily find as builders tend to be either post-war or prewar Junior series cars. I did look for you and about the only thing I could find is this 1930 Model 733 parts car which is now for sale in Pennsylvania. Asking price is $5K, but this car has been for sale for months, so I think you could probably get it for a lot less if interested. Not sure where you are, but this might be your best option for now. You could spend years looking for one of these early engines. There just aren't any out there. facebook.com/marketplace/item/586517737869121

I spotted this one recently and posted it here. But I think that this is a Six. Here is a 1928 526 parts car I recently spotted on FB from California. facebook.com/marketplace/item/2763775120491217 Bonnie and Clyde special? Clyde would not have wanted to use a then antiquated 1920's Packard as a getaway car after knocking over a bank. He much preferred the new Ford V8's or maybe a Hudson Terraplane. Those Terraplanes were real performers in their day, particularly the eight cylinder model. Light and fast.
