35k is an insane ask on that Caribbean. It needs fully restored. I wouldn't even value it in the five digits.
BTW I'm pretty sure they were asking only 20k before. Not sure what the trend is with projects not selling then the asking price going up...

49 in Washington state. Runs drives stops and interior is a 70's era restoration. Has moderate fuel and electrical issues. Unbeatable deal at $1100.

The '42 120 Convertible in Calif (aka "The Turk") was originally the car I was looking at before the Jackard came to me. It came out of the same estate where I pulled the Steele Rubber Horde several years ago.
Gerry at Packards Southwest owns it now and everything else that was part of that estate. The car has a fully rebuilt and restored drive train and chassis. When I was there the body was on a dolly, restored frame and drive train were being stored in another garage. Gerry re-mated the body back to the frame so it could be moved. Nearly everything for this car was in the garage, including fresh chrome, and perhaps redone upholstery. If the car wasn't 2000 miles away, and not disassembled it would be in my garage now. For those interested, these is also a '53 Mayfair that was freshly repainted, has new interior, fresh chrome, NOS glass, restored frame and fully rebuilt drivetrain (engine and transmission). But once again, fully apart. It's a rare car in Amethyst paint, with matching amethyst badging.

Amethyst because someone painted it that way. The Amethyst cars were ONLY on 1054 Pacific and nothing else.

I was also considering this car before I got the '56. In the end I decided I probably couldn't handle that big of a project right now. I would love to do it though. Much of the hard work has been done. Needs body work and paint. The interior has not been redone, but it's there for patterns. Love the history of this car.
