Egge is out of stock? Pretty much everything you need they make. Except for maybe head studs and nuts. Yes, everything there is expensive, but these aren't small block Chevy's that are a dime a dozen. Unfortunately it's the cost of of rebuilding a unique engine.

Egge Pistons - Packard 327

You might be able to find some used parts that you can use, like head studs. Nuts you can just get from McMaster or Fastenal.

Egge is your best bet for the bearings if Kanter and Merritt don't have them. Maybe also Terrill Machine in Texas? Last time I worked with Egge, they were going to be able to make valves for me in house (I ended up getting valves from Kanter), so maybe they'll be able to do something like that for you with bearings?

A couple notes on the nuts and studs:

- nuts you can get from McMaster. There are thirty-eight 7/16-20 nuts, and you are looking for "heavy-profile" nuts that have a 3/4" width. Don't forget the big washers that go under the studs, too.

- the studs are kind of particular, and you should buy these from Merritt or Kanter. The dimensions are 7/16-20 x 3-3/32. Some fuss can be made over the use of rolled threads in the block (this was used to reduce the chance of leaks), but the last couple times I've ordered studs from MM, they've sent studs with both ends being the same "cut" threads (there was no discernable difference in the threading of the studs from either end). Best practice either way would be to use a high temp thread sealant on the block side stud threads.

Good luck!

Are your pistons bad? Do you need over-sized pistons? I had my pistons coated which brought clearances back to spec.
