Has the newest diagram addressed the swapped Dash Indicator labels?

This is the latest version of the 49-54 circuit I have done and believe it is correct. While the layout was done for convenience and is not a typical Packard offering where components are shown in actual relation to where they are physically located, if there is an error in labeling please advise.

This version has the Dash Indicators labeled correctly.

Trying to add photos to the Photo Archive but the image button does nothing. I was hoping to add them something like an album with one title and caption describing them all but there does not appear to be a facility for that.

The Insert Image button was meant only for the Forums, not for the other areas of the website. But they inherit from the same code that renders those text edit boxes. So, I made a change so that if the current "module" isn't "Forums", the "Insert Image" button won't be displayed from now on.

Just a bit confused by this. The article is listed as 51-56 diagram, and Howard's latest is listed as 48-54.

Please advise.

He meant to say 48-56.

If this is the same document that Howard shows in entry #72, the document states 49-56.

Just a bit confused by this. The article is listed as 51-56 diagram, and Howard's latest is listed as 48-54.

Please advise.

The original digram labeled 51-6 is correct as far as basic wiring but there was an error in labeling indicator bulbs. I corrected the side labels on the dual indicator bulbs and clarified a couple of other things along with adding the switch photos showing how internal connections are made. The range was also extended to the 49-50 23rd series because except for wire colors in one or two spots it has the same circuitry.

Up thru the 22nd series, the factory offering's circuitry was different because there was no brake light provisions in the turn signal switch. In those early years a separate bulb for turn signals in the rear was needed.. There were also some minor differences thru those years so I have a drawing for the 21st series which may be applicable to the 20th along with another drawing for the 22nd series. If there is interest I could put something together on those models suitable for posting.

Although only one member (myself) and 97 guests, the site seems unusually slow as of yesterday. Could it be that many of the 97 guests are bogus?
