Just in case any of you have a Packard I'll now go into my usual spiel - "Could you please include your Packard in the Owner Registry together with a pic, any known history and how you acquired it"? And G'day DigbyGwen, janessabuffy, Lakeishaeus and Larycom, See you're all from California, and it's certainly good of to join the Site to post your comments, many wouldn't. My comments from my previous post also apply, especially if you have a Packard!

Did anyone get any photos of the a/c unit in Jim Hollingswroth's '41 Clipper?

West, Jim brought his beautiful '41 Clipper to Salado for the '08 and '09 meets, and I photographed the car, but only the outside. I should have asked him to let me photo the AC. In my conversation with him, he mentioned that the AC cars came with more insulation than the non-AC cars. Also, if I recall correctly, the car had been his once before, sold, and re-purchased. He is such a nice person to meet and talk with.

Thanks, John.
I had talked with Jim just before he finished this car. I believe he said he is doing another, as well, a 1942. I told him that we once owned a 1942 Clipper 120 with a/c, but I have no idea whatever happened to it. He confirmed that the car we owned was not the one that he owns.
