Packard history to be re-written! The first "Junior" model!

Contrary to popular belief 1935 was NOT the first year a "junior" Packard was available! Thanks to prolific Photo Archive contributor 423reed that belief now must surely be put to rest. His recent contribution, reproduced below, marks 1923 at least as the year a "junior" Packard was introduced.
So Jim, 423reed, not just for this historic pic but for the wealth of Packard pictures you have contributed to the Site.

Good one Mal!!

I wouldn't mind betting that one of these 'junior' models in mint condition would be worth almost as much as some full-sized 'juniors'. Building a replica would be a nice project for a sheet-metalworker.

Ha ha very good but for the record, Packard's first Junior car was the 1921 Single Six introduced alongside the Twin Six.

This was common at the time, such luxury makes as Pierce Arrow and Rolls Royce had a similar model lineup, with a big heavy chassis that could carry the largest chauffeur driven limousine bodies, and a smaller car aimed at the owner who drove himself, and did not need or want such a large car.
