I've always associated the name "nailhead" with the Buick-built V8s.

here is the google cache of the expired ad if anyone is interested:
webcache.googleusercontent.com/search?hl ... 8483936&aq=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai= I emailed and don't recall the exact wording but basically the guy would offer a bill of sale. To get it into the US i believe you're up for getting it inspected up to todays standard as the manufacturer isn't around to issue a letter saying it met US road standards of the year it was manufactured. The process is a bit hazy, and i may recall wrong but a bill of sale will get you through customers but getting it on the road is a whole different story. Hard to believe that and this are similiar cars! cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Packard-120-1937 ... &hash=item43a4074191#ht_1310wt_1165

Did you end up getting the car, or getting a decent firm offer in?
I'll tell you this, if you can get it into the US and fix it up in good condition, you could hit about any car show, even the good guys ppg nats with 6-7000 cars, and you'd have the only one like it. To me that's more respectable than another 1 in 500 30,000 dollar chevy coupe.
