Welcome to the PackardInfo puzzle corner, admission is free, any possible revenues will be used for the benefit of PackardInfo.com, the most comprehensive free online reference for Packard owners, supported and funded by user donations.

Riddle 3: What car is that?
Tell us its name to play for free. The frame ranges from a 1897 electric carriage built by Earl C Anthony to the 1958 Studebaker-Packard station wagon. Be sure that I'll try to give you a hard fight to maximize the outcome. But I promise, that the car we are looking for has a distinctive design. It is unmistakable! Serveral photographs of this very car are available on PackardInfo.com.

Rules (please read carefully)

A) That is a game for up to four players in which each player on a separate field tries to solve the common riddle. Four players, four fields (please see sample line-up).

B) Every single field consists of twelfe numbered pieces of puzzle (please see sample quarter) and hides a separate photograph. The four different photographs have been taken of the same car.

C) A virtual dice shaker will pass around. Its random number generator is a twelve sided die and will tell us which piece of puzzle has to be revealed in your quarter.

--> to roll dice

D) The colors of the photographs have been inverted (please see sample pic with inverted colors).

E) Every player has one roll in each round. Every roll costs 50?.

F) Every player has 24 hours to dice, otherwise he will lose one turn (but no money). You can drop-out any time you want.

G) Be fast, when you know the solution of the riddle. First come, first served. The losers have to pay for the winner!

Gerd,

I'm a sucker when it comes to your competitions, so count me in. Besides, I always love to contribute to PackardInfo's inconsiderable coffers.

C'mon, lets Roll the Dice!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

the first player, (whispering: What's your name Sir? Mal?) Mal enters the stage!

Mal, something you'd better understand: it may looks like a child's play to you but this game will burn the candle at both ends! It doesn't have to end this way, but it is up to you. I won't stem the tide ...

Ok, it becomes more tight but three places remained. We are looking for four liberal donors. Who is next, please?

Love the Ballard of Cat Ballou, and Lee Marvin is one of my all-time favourite actors.

What we need now are 3 suckers players prepared to step up and have a go!

Yowser, yowser, yowser! Step right up! You've got to be in it to win it!

My Packard recognition skills are very limited, so most PackardInfo members would have a head start on me in that regard.

Come one, come all, well 3 actually. I imagine if there are more than 4 respondents then Gerd can come up with another game for the extra players. And in the end PackardInfo is the winner, so irrespective of who is victorious we all win!

From 1897 to 1958 ... which ever could it be? Well, without letting the cat completely out of the bag but while Mal is sleeping I can tell you that the wanted car is on display in a museum in the USA.
And it has an own thread on PackardInfo.com...

I grant it takes a lot of courage to contest the victory with Mal. Anyhow, who is number two?

Gerd has put a lot of hard work into creating, developing and testing this game, lets make it worthwhile. Both for Gerd and for PackardInfo because all proceeds go to PackardInfo. So help support PackardInfo and have fun at the same time.

Well Kudos to Mal and Gerd for stepping up to the bat. Unfortunately two people is only a game of catch, and not a baseball game...any more players in the dugout?
