Looking for a little help.
The passenger window is about a half inch from being all the way up. The window is not touching the two stops by the glass channel. Is there an adjustment for more height on the regulator?
Thanks

No adjustment for height or travel other than the stops--2 at top, one at bottom. One place I've seen a problem is in the felt channel on vent window side. If that has worn or torn and is bunched up near the top, that will prevent full travel as the corner of glass hits the bunched up mass and stops. If the 3 sliding or guide tracks inside the door that scissors use are dry or in need of lube, that could cause a bind but usually window will be very slow with that.

Otherwise, about the only other thing that would prevent full travel is if something has loosened and motor/gear side can't pull enough for a full stroke on the scissors mechanism side. There are screws holding the regulator, more holding the scissors pivot, a couple of welded angles and pins for the connecting link and then the window bottom channel. If that channel has slipped on the glass, it is possible one of the scissors pins hits the end of the slot before full height is reached. Any of the others loose could allow something to twist out of position so travel is restricted.

Does the passenger side window go lower down in the door than the driverside window?

I registered the car this winter when I joined Packards International but I have not seen it on the registry page.

Thank you for the response. I will utilize the info and let you know what I find in the next couple of days.

Other than the fact that many posters here belong to PI, there is no formal connection that I'm aware of between PI and this website. Packards International has their own website, as does the other national Packard Club.

Or did I misread your comment?

Including your Packard in the Registry here on PackardInfo entails visiting the Registry, clicking on the Add your Packard to the Registry button then completing the details required and including a picture if possible.

Sorry if there was any confusion because of my request.
