theres a bunch of videos on youtube of a hotrod powered by a supercharged Packard Straight 8. In fact i think the builder is a member here. It is really badass!

Also was the feature/cover car in Hot Rod Magazine a couple of months ago. I saw it at Bonneville Speed Week and it is maybe my all-time favorite rat rod.

Any thing cam be made if you have enough money. I'm following a similar path as you with my 52 327 and I don't have all the details worked out as yet. Supercharging can make BIG increases in power somewhere around 7 psi of boot should give you roughly 50% more power and 14 psi should double you naturally aspirated output but again you would need a very good bottom end to support that, very accurate balancing, main studs, custom forged pistons and rods would be a must and you would very likely have to mod the oiling system.
