G'day Snake Oiler,
 to PackardInfo.Even though you're going to part out your '56 Clipper, I invite you to include it in the Packard Vehicle Register. There are fields within the Registry to accommodate that it is a parts car.

Put car in registry. Here are few more pics.

Yeah definitely keep that stuff from the dash if you can. Someone was looking for a Starter plate the other day. Also, where are you at? I need some back window glass for my '55...
