A few listings from Facebook Marketplace

Thought I would post these under a separate listing

1936 Senior coupe in Connecticut: This appears to be an ambitious, though worthy project. Not sure of the exact model from the photographs, I'm thinking it might be a 1401? The data plate is not shown in the photos, but the anti-theft number on the firewall appears to be 202332.

Beautifully restored 1928 526 Sedan for sale in NY:

Another well restored 1920's Packard, this one a 1925 326 Sedan

Nice original 1937 120 Touring Sedan from Long Island, NY

Can't get the links to work for individual cars. This is for all Packards now on Facebook in the MidAtlantic region

Here are a few more I would like to post:

1940 120 Coupe in NY: Not sure I like the hot rod flat black paint job, but it looks like a relatively solid car that still has the original drivetrain instead of the usual Chevy small block.

facebook.com/marketplace/item/1330488887 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

1940 110 Sedan in Syracuse, NY: Looks like a really good original car. Just like my first Packard, but much nicer:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/6513497688 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

Solid looking 1941 Clipper from PA: Decent looking first year Clipper:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/5369063049 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

1941 120 Coupe with dual sidemounts. Love this one; looks like a very worthy project. Ad says it has been in storage for over 50 years:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/8509282230 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

Really trashed 1940 110 sedan: Probably just a parts car at this point, or maybe rod material. Seller is throwing in a Chevy Blazer chassis in case you really want to build a four-wheel drive Packard. Not sure this would be a good idea:

facebook.com/marketplace/item/4625340091 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

Rare 1952 Mayfair hardtop from Indiana looks good, but I do see some rust bubbling up in spots. But you don't often see these early Packard hardtops for sale and this one definitely has potential. I really like these.

facebook.com/marketplace/item/6875127129 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

Barn find 1955 Patrician just pulled from 50-year storage. Obviously needs alot and looks like it took a hit to the front

facebook.com/marketplace/item/5115158840 ... _code=null&referral_story_type=post

Decent original 1956 400 in Indiana. Supposedly has only 67K original miles. Gee, I didn't know that Chrysler Corporation made Packards. The seller seems to think so.

That’s some kind of a Facebook limitation where Packard doesn’t show on the list of makes if posting as a vehicle. If posting in the general Marketplace, though, you can type in the make.

That 1956 400 in Indiana looks nice, but no way is it $25k. More like $10k

I know of a 55 400 wayyyyyy nicer than that, 52k miles, all original or NOS, for sale for $14k.

I like that '52 Mayfair. Not a bad price for that condition I think. Interior is not too bad, paint is good besides some rust bubbling, and the chrome appears excellent. Looks like there might be some floorboard issues to be addressed, and the standard tune-up, brakes, fuel issues to be dealt with. Overall an uncommon and attractive car.

George. You are correct. Car has the round gauges as on a '42 or later Clipper. Does have the prewar grille. Rare car then. You don't see many 1942 anythings. True story:. My late dad owned a 1942 Clipper in partnership with his younger brother (my Uncle Joe) after they both returned from WW II. It was an Eight Club Sedan. My dad actually proposed to my mom in that very car. Unfortunately, Uncle Joe totaled the Clipper not long afterwards. Apparently, he managed to drive it head on into a tree. Have only ever seen two 1942 Clipper Club Sedans. One belonged to PAC member Bob Teller from NJ. Beautiful restoration and it won many awards.

Looks like 1946-1947 front bumper or at least front license plate mounting.

I did find a 1941 Clipper on FB Marketplace. Think I originally meant to post this one instead of the 1942. This one has the prewar grille and the 1941 only rectangular dash gauges. Unfortunately, it looks too far gone to save, but might yield some useful parts if you have one of these. It is located in Oklahoma.
