Does anyone know where I can find some bumper guards for a 1938 Packard, 1601 Series, 4-dr Touring Sedan?

I've tried Kanter and Merritt's but they don't have them.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

Easy to buy. Often seen on eBay. Alternatively, the Flackmaster would probably have them.

(sidebar to Tabletennissport) Nooooelll...ever wonder why a secret stash is named as such??? More than 2 years on Packardinfo and all you can do is spread rumors?? Easy??? Maybe for you...I haven't seen any 38 bumper guards for sale in at least 2 years! The last one on ebay was December 1, 2007 - and I bought it! For all I know, there are more buried under the Great Wall of China...like you might be if you can't keep a secret! OR I can post the address to where your car is stored at night and send this guy a wrench...

Is this what you need?

Just in case you want to make the trip down-under to purloin Noel's bumper over-riders, here's a pic of one of them taken earlier today.

Ready when you are? Also have one already rechromed. (Which is the safer bet as you can see what the chrome shop did to the detail on Noel's bumperette...and Noel has already registered his desire for my unchromed original set so he can have a better pair done....Mr.PickyPickyPicky....)

Or you can buy one of Noel's rubbed out bumperettes.....probably cheaper than mine too!

What price are we talking about? I'm just an old retired stiff puttering around with this car.

...and I'm just a poor ole' middle aged white guy trying to stay afloat. I am happy for you that you have successfully retired. I can send you a used, needs chrome bumperette for $100, or a rechromed one for $150. Pricey, maybe...but honestly, decent bumperettes have nearly dried up.
