Dear Sir, the 1953 Cavalier that is listed under "utahpackard53" can be removed because, well, I'm the new owner of this car! So far I've found out some interesting info about her that I'll add to my registry as soon as I'm finished sending this.

Scottie,

I'm torn here, being a proponent of the Owner Registry, I'd rather not see a Packard removed from the Registry unless it's absolutely necessary. I understand the desire for "your" Packard to stand alone but feel that retaining the entry from when it belonged to UtahPackard53 will maintain an important link to it's past history. Now for the big one, and this is addressed to a big man, our esteemed Webmaster Big Kev may be able to retain this entry but "lock it" with a note to refer to your entry as the new and up to date owner and information on your Packard.

Off on another tack, UtahPackard53 made a number of posts referring to your car being:

Dear Oz, yeah, thats a good idea for the history. I didn't want others to believe there were more of these rare beauties out there than there really is! Thanks for the links to Dave's postings. I'm actually starting to have problems the REVERSE of what he had! The electric pump he installed doesn't seem to supply the carb with much fuel. I watch the glass bowl and it just DRIBBLES in. Consequently, whenever I go up hills or try to accelerate quickly, she starts to chug and hesitate for lack of fuel. I'm going to check and see if there is an adjustment on the pump for flow. It says "AC" on the outer casing. Does this mean AC Delco? Thanks again, take care,

Scott

Well, I've completed "my review" of the Owner Registry thanks to PackardInfo members massaging their entries when requested and to BigKev when contact couldn't be established.

We are now back to 496 entries following a number of duplicate entries being purged recently. But with 500 within reach I look forward to that significant milestone being attained very shortly.

So to all those PackardInfo members still to add their Packard/s to the Registry -

DO IT NOW!

Thanks to Mike, the 500 man, as well as everyone else who's included their Packard/s in the Registry.

Kev,

Could you close this thread? It's served it's purpose for review and "tidying up" of Owner Registry entries.

However the thread titled Owner Registry - Time to get on board!packardinfo.com/xoops/html/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=768&forum=4 can continue "Ad infinitum".
