You have a small fortune invested in clamps! Better, I guess, than having them steam-bent and probably stronger too. I'm one who likes having specialty tools and can now even do light copper, zinc and other types of plating. Even chrome!

I already had these from prior projects. Most of these were $3-$5 each when they went on sale at HF.

It's getting there. The arch is nearly spot on. Just need to taper the ends and do the round overs.

Except for paint, both bows are as done as they are going to get.

Not perfect, but perfectly fine.

That fish eye view makes the header bow look small and the rear bow look super thick, when its the reserve. Weird.

I notice many pics of old cars, like Ford Ts, that make it look like the front wheels are splayed out.

basic normal average hardware store sponge rubber. Though I would personally spring for something with a little more lifespan, maybe with Silicone in it. I've dealt with many a header with melted, decomposing 80 year old sponge rubber....

Starting to swap the body sheet metal back to original fenders. I've already noticed an issue on the rear that will have to be addressed. The rear valance panel was replaced and it was made to fit the shape of the stretched rear fenders. So now it doesn't line up with the factory fender shape at the bottom corner. So that will have to get reworked in the future.

This replacement fender came from a sedan body, so it doesn't have the holes for the taillight. Can some with a junior coupe give a measurement from the back bottom edge of the fender to the center positon of the those holes? The custom fender have been reworked in that area so are no good for an accurate measurement.

Thanks!
