Very impressive. I've had the idea that a long stroke flathead should respond really well to a centrifugal supercharger. Am gathering the parts to build one myself.

How did yours work out? Do you agree that the McCulloch supercharger and flathead combo work well?

What kind of belt tensioner do you use? Can you tell me how much tension is necessary to make the blower drive work correctly?

Would be very interested in any advice you can give. I shouldn't say this on a Packard forum but the engine I have in mind is not a Packard it's a six cylinder that rhymes with Sly Cur.

Out of curiosity, Brian, any idea (even a rough one)how many horsepower this thing has?

And you have it mated to a Packard 3-speed, right?

I found your car on youtube several years ago and i very much enjoyed the article hot rod did on it. I am very impressed with your engine. I'm just beginning to work with a 1952 327 and i would like to know some of the performance mods you made on the engine other than the obvious head, intake, super charger, and exhaust. I'm interested in taking mine fairly far and i am even considering turbos but inline Packard blocks are hard to come by around here and i don't want to destroy anything during the build up. If you don't mind sharing i would love to hear about your build
