Here the description:-

Miracle paint MIRHD-QT $34

A moisture cured non porous paint that bonds to rusted and corroded metals like no other coating.
This is the heavy duty version of our famous paint.
Use this heavy duty version for rust areas that require a thicker coat or where extremely heavy rust is present.
It dries rock hard and will not chip, crack or peel. Impervious to gasoline, lacquer thinner, salt and most acids. Can be painted directly over rusted surfaces. Is strengthened by moisture.
Will seal concrete, grout, wood, metal and porous tile like nothing else.
Can be sprayed, rolled or brushed. Comes with disposable gloves and valuable product information sheet.

Also a another Rust Remover/Metal Prep RR $18

The very best product on the market for removing rust. Not only will the product safely and quickly remove rust, but it will leave a gray phosphate coating on the metal to provide an excellent base for painting and welding conductivity. Can be sprayed or applied to areas normally impossible to remove rust from before.
Etches aluminum, brass, copper and chrome plate to prep for painting.
It will even remove nickel plate without harming painted surfaces. Non-flammable, non toxic, biodegradable. One step process for spray, brush or dip application. New brushable gel formula even sticks to vertical surfaces

Engine looks likes it needs a good clean up. By the way, the picture I posted of the Battery, was it correct for this motor?

Yes, it's a lovely eyeful, though I don't know about the correctness of the top color. I guess the owner wasn't pleased that the cormorant folded her wings in 1954. If we had an OSHA back then, they would have been pleased but many owners weren't.

O_D, I agree with you about the hood ornament. I think the ornament with the folded wings is an attractive piece. Is it a cormorant or a swan? Some even call it a pelican. I prefer swan as a cormorant is not a particularly good looking bird.

There have been endless debates on the cormorant vs pelican issue. The Packard Motor Car Company has been documented using both terms over the years. The bird perched on the top of the Packard family crest is supposedly a pelican. It isn't a swan.

Based on my upbringing on the West Coast, the hood ornament sure doesn't look like a pelican (at least not a Pacific Brown Pelican). I'm in the Cormorant camp as apparently is the PAC (based on the name of their publication).
