Just called and spoke to Ross, he confirmed what I thought. The emblem is etched into that speaker grille (not a plug), and when the under-seat heater or rear defroster was installed, the center of the clipper emblem was drilled out to install a switch just like the fresh air one on the left. Similar to how the Senior cars looked with two switches.

I just need to find a another switch now. Anyone have one?

I can't see much detail but it appears you have the toggle switch with black handle so those should be essentially the same from 51 on and should be reasonably available used. A possible option is the TL on/off switch although I don't know if the rating is the same. If the lever is the same length, then the torsion level on/off switch is same in appearance (it's lever is about 3/8 long). Maybe you even have one of those in that stuff. The wiring may be different though--some heater switches have two leads with bullet connectors, TL has two bullet connector sockets and no leads. If no luck finding the real one, packards1 has a TL switch on his site.

I'm late to this party, but that looks like a great 4bbl air cleaner. I imagine i can find some or fab some brackets for it if they're missing. PM me a price if it's for sale...i picked up one of a desoto to get me by but if that one's in decent shape and not a small mint i'd prefer a Packard part.

I assume that means web site. I never knew he had a web site.
