Thanks for the welcome. Even though I posted a picture in my entry in jpeg, it doesn't show up on the registry. Any suggestions as to what I should do?

Thank's,
Ron Jordan

rjjordan,

Make sure you 'upload' the picture before you click on 'submit.' At least that is the way with regular postings. It took me a while to figure that out.

Welcome

The registry is expecting .jpg photos that are 1280 x1280 or smaller. If your picture is larger than that, you will need to resize it.

Thanks,

and to cityvintage for including your '34 Eight Sedan Limo in the Packard Owner's Registry. I wonder what the story is regarding a RHD Packard ending up in Daly City Ca?

to old hard road, Clifton, for including your '56 Patrician Touring Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry, that was a quick response!

to gowritch, Ritch, for including your '54 Packard Patrician Touring Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry.I note your comments of "Have a concept idea for this car......I want to build a reliable daily driver based on what the factory might have done if they had built a factory custom sports sedan in 1954. I am converting to 12V, mainly for the ease of adapting accessories, like modern A/C compressor (original is missing) and electric power windows, which my car does not (hydraulic) have. I have a McCulloch blower I found on E-bay and am collecting parts to eventually supercharge the motor. Modifications are being made without compromising the car so things can be reversed at a later date." and Turbopackman, Eric, should be able to pass on some advice on your concept.

and to The Packard Institute, Inc. for including your '49 Eight Touring Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry.

Under VEHICLE HISTORY/PROJECT STATUS: is the entry "Purchased in Jan. 2010, we call this the "Packard Project," whereby our non-profit, www.thepackardinstitute.com will task troubled kids to work under adult mentors in restoring this vehicle. Parked in the 80s, when used as a daily driver. Garage stored and idle since. We are in Akron, OH and would appreciate any feedback and/or consulting on this project. Thanks, Raynard Packard 330.762.4357 www.thepackardinstitute.com" Looks like a very worthy endeavour. And a suggestion, start a Project Blog here and update it with your progress including plenty of pic's of the '49 and, if it's OK, of the kids working on it. There are plenty of experienced, knowledgeable and friendly Packard people here who would only be too willing to pass on advise and answer your queries here on the Site.

and to whiggle for including your '50 Super Deluxe Eight Touring Sedan in the Packard Owner's Registry. Another PackardInfo member from The Netherlands, there seem to be a few there! And, as this entry appeared to be duplicated, I have deleted a second entry which contained very little information.
