1953 Caribbean. Rough, unrestored car, but sheet metal looks straight and solid as you would expect on a West Coast car (Southern CA). Interior is completely gutted. Appears that the original color was Gulf Green Metallic.
Seller thoughtfully included a picture of a fully restored '53 Caribbean to inspire potential buyers. But we all know how much it costs to get there! Who wants to take this one on?

The 1955 in Phoenix is not serious. Really, a single grainy photo of a photo and they are trying to sell it?

Agree, but I have seen worse. I have seen ads where there is no photo at all. Recently, I responded to an ad where the photo posted was a reproduction of an original Packard magazine ad. According to the seller, the car was "under restoration". I asked to see photos and all he sent me was a single very blurry black and white photo of the car apparently taken many years ago. I asked to see some recent photos of the restoration work, but never heard back.

The 54 convertible in Indiana looks like a real bargain for $12k. If the ad is correct, a lot of work and new parts have already been done.

I would submit for consideration that "NEW" does not necessarily mean "new".


Caveat emptor when shopping at the Caveat Emporium.

I have seen the green 1955 Patrician in Oregon and have even posted some photos of it in a separate thread after spotting it for sale at a consignment lot not far from my shop somewhere between Terrebonne and Redmond along the main hwy 97. The person listing it is the actual owner, though, rather than a consignee. It’s not bad from what I recall but has been there for a long time. For a while, it and all the cars disappeared but it and a couple others have returned as of my last visit a couple weeks ago. It is currently outdoors but under cover of a high awning.
