Let me be the first to congratulate Dave Czirr on a fine article published in the Packard Cormorant. I knew when I saw the cover that Dave would have an article in this edition.
I also echo his sentiment about the best and most lasting rewards of Packard ownership are the people and friendships gained because of these wonderful cars.
Congratulations Dave!

Well let me be the second to offer my congratulations as well OD. I've come across and read other well written contributions about Packards only to discover at the end that our own Dave Czirr was the author. You have a lot of knowledge and history about Packard Dave, both the car and the company and we appreciate your willingness to share it with us...congratulations again.

Dave, congratulation. My English isn't suitable for an appropriate appreciation of your performance and willingness to help. Therefore I would like to repeat everything that Gary (Gator) said.

Dear Dave,

Congratulations on the article and the photographs of your car. Both do justice to your Packard commitment. Was the prior owner part of Kittinger Furniture family?

That was a great article and that is one fantastic car. I am lucky enough to own the 22nd series Custom Eight mentioned in the article. I purchased it when Dave bought the 56 Caribbean. He had a two car garage and he said one of his cars had to go to make way for the 56. I said if that was the case, I would take that old black car off his hands instead. Needless to say, almost 17 years to the day later, he still has that old black car (as you can see in the article).
