The deferential on my 33 has two numbers stamped on it. One is the star number which is very close the the engine number and the other is 4 then some space and another 4 with what appears to be a capital I after it. Does anyone have any idea what it relates to. Thank Dell

4.41:1 was a special order rear axle ratio for 1932 in the Super Eight and Twin Six, perhaps carried over into 1933. The gear tooth count would be 75/17.

PS, it's a differential, not deferential. The former is a noun, the latter an adverb.
