1937 V12 formal sedan with back seat gauges, probably add on I guess. looks like trip reset below the speedo....not sure what the wood piece is below that....used to be ashtray maybe???

where is the crank to roll the divider window up and down? above the gauges behind that panel maybe?

and why no robe rail?

I would hope the driver still had a speedo so wonder if the means to drive two accurate mechanical speedometers was readily available or if a custom made adapter was built.

Perhaps that rear one is not a true speedo and works off a tachometer drive like the fake speedometer scale that was only accurate in high gear similar to the one on the combo tachometer/speedo unit in that roadster posted a few days ago

The 30-31 Caddy 16 phaetons had gauges in the back seat. I don't know about 32 because they are so rare I never saw one. The speedometer was a AC unit with no odometer and was driven by a special two take off drive on the transmission.

Packard called the pissed off duck ornament a Pelican at least through 38 and was using the Cormorant stuff in 1939. Arguing what kind of bird it is makes as much sense as arguing what sex Christine Jorgenson was. It's just a thing.
