For whatever reason I am unable to find what the original tire sizes were on the Series 23's. Can someone please direct me to the location of this info? I have all the user, service manuals, and service updates (I believe), but not the info I need.

To be specific, when you get to the Model Info, select your specific model and the tire size is at the very bottom of the specifications.

For reference, complete specs on upcoming models were generally published in a Service Counselor right around the time of introduction. If a change was made from original specs, those were frequently in later issues of either a tech bulletin or a Service article.

If you are interested in other information on your car, the complete 23rd series specs are in the Vol 23 #5, May 1, 1949 issue. Almost all Service Counselor issues from the 30s onward are available for download in the literature section. Tech bulletins are mostly postwar and a fair number of those are also available.

Here is the pertinent tire info.
