Well it has been awhile since my last update. Things slowed a bit last fall due to work, but was able to get some work done over the holidays. Now have the suspension in place. Finished the brakes this week. Start this weekend with mounting manifolds, exhaust and cooling system. The attached photos are the completed brake work.

Yup still need to get the ground strap installed too!

Hope its of interest.

Body goes to the strippers next week. Still have the wood framing to make as well.

I notice most of the images you posted earlier were 600-700k in size. There is a max limit now of 400k. Maybe that is the issue.

Ok, progress again finally. Manifolds are mounted and the carb overhaul was completed last week. I am working on the fuel lines and pump(s) now.

The previous owner also had a Purolator oil filter with the car, but never mounted. I have done some investigating and the former owner provided photos that show the filter attached to the head above the generator. The unit is a partial flow which is correct, but the question is where does the return line hook up? The photo I have for another 120 looks like the return is tapped into the oil filler tube. The feed line I assume comes from the oil channel on the passenger side of the block.

Last, oil lines, copper or steel? I have info on both ways. Would appreciate any input.

Thanks for reading. More photos soon!

Phil
