For those going to or in that corner of the world, I'll be attending the Art Deco Fest in Napier, New Zealand in Feb 2024. Also, the associated car events that occur during and after.
If your in the area, come say 'ello. I'll be "in country" approx Feb 12th-24th. Traveling towards Masterson after the Art Deco fest.

Usually every two years the NZ Packard club, South Pacific Packards has a Rally, often following after the Art Deco Festival. Assuming they are having a Rally in 2024 are you going to take that in as part of your trip?

And a return to Australia in 2025 could happen ...if invited. Anyone from OZ headed to NZ in Feb? Hershey?? Very quiet down under....

G'day David !
Don't know of anyone from Oz going to NZ. But because I've stepped back from an involved role with PACA I'm not "in the loop" anymore. Love to have you in Oz in 2025 but I don't know if there's a National Rally that year. Usually they are every 2 years with the next one 2024 in Tasmania, virtually straight after the NZ Rally! Maybe you could tack it onto the end of your trip there?  Don't know about Hershey either. I'd love to be there but that won't happen, unfortunately.

Did a Motorcycle trip just before the covid thing hit. took a month, did the coast of both islands. Real pretty country, people are nice too.
Food is like England, fish and chips on every menu. Take a bottle of catsup, hot sauce and your favorite steak sauce There pretty much, is a Brewery in every town and the beer has more of a kick to it then wine. 2 pints and you are hammered Good luck you are going to like it If the food was better and the plane ride wasn't as long I'd go back W
