If you are going to use the Hirsch Paint, spray it vs brushing it. It was way to thin out of the car to brush.

The cheap HVLP detail gun from HF worked perfectly.

37 Kevin

If you need a spring for the shutters I had them made in stainless steel.

No grille shutters on 115-C, they are fixed.

Haven't decided if I'm going to use Hirsch or something like the Massey Ferguson gray from Tractor Supply. Either way I will likely spray. I have the HF detail gun and it's great.

It looks really good Kev, the translation of the Jaguar engine is so nicely done too, bet the ghosts of Packard engineers are smiling, or kicking themselves for not doing it in the first place. Again, well done sir!

Thanks, it does look at home in there. Stuff on the passenger side is pretty tight. Pretty sure I wouldn't be able to remove the distributor without removing the fender.

Engine done and bagged. Moving on to degreasing the front frame and suspension so I can paint it.

I already chiseled about 2 lbs of compacted dirt and grease off of the front shocks.

I'd fill the shocks with oil and see if they leak.

Based on some notes written on the shocks, I'm pretty sure the right shock is from a 115-C and the left shock was off of a 120-B.
