I am currently installing a new interior in a 56 400 and have misplaced note on function and location of the two parts shown attached. One left hand one right. Most likely from the front seat back. any help would be appreciated.

I have tried to attach a file, I hope it worked. If not please respond by e-mail as I am not very computer savvy. My e-mail address is joybuzz@windstream.net

Doesn't ring a bell but by the shape and locating notches any chance they are support brackets for one end of the highlighted plastic trim piece at bottom of seat.

my guess, are they the brackets at the bottom, that allow the front seat back to fold down?

The olde Pack-rat strikes again!
I knew I saved those seats for a reason. The right hand one looks like a zigzag - I couldn't get back in there to take a picture. Those brackets are about right at eye level for picture taking. The large hole is for the bolt between the seat frame and the rack that bolts to the floor. 30.9381 is held to this bracket by two screws in front.

Randy & HH,

You guys are good! I did not know that you were ever supposed to throw out any Packard parts, even the bad ones! ;)

Let the ride decide,
That's why my family refers to me as a Pack-rat.
Remember I have two other hobbies and I am just as bad with those as with Packard parts It is getting difficult to move around the house - the tunnel in the livingroom has helped a good bit.
