This is a yellow and white 1956 400 being offered for 65K. It looks quite nice, but seems to be ludicrously over market...or am I just too cheap. Lots of money for a fixed top and no wires or a/c......

When two men ride the same horse, one has to be in the back...

Probably a case were that is what they spent to restore it, so now that's what they assume it is worth.

Good looking car. Nicely done. I like the fact it doesn't have pushbutton selector.

Nonetheless, I think $40K is all in for it.

Seems overpriced to me as well, but let's remember that 56 400 (Mojave tan & White) that sold at Hershey two or three years ago for the same money, a transaction that flabbergasted some of us who saw the car, not that it wasn't outstanding. Perhaps the current seller was influenced by that transaction.

A nice car but a bit overpriced for today's market. IMHO.

there is also a video of it on you tube.If you watch it, you will hear what sounds like a bad PS pump noise. You would think that for $65,000.00, they would at least take care of that problem.

I like the way the seller touts "No Reserve !" and sets an opening bid of $65K.

If my plans go right, I will win the 487 Million dollar MegaMillions this Friday and that car will be mine by Saturday.

It's a nice car, the price seems steep, but if the underside looks as nice as the topside, I think $50,000 is probably closer to reality.

My guess is an estate sale where the widow wants the money that's been spent on it.

Eventually she will have to accept a lower amount.

Buy hey, when I'm on my last leg maybe I will drop a car off at some place I know is good and let them have a ball.

If you really can take it with you then I'll still have my American Express Card.

Yep, in this case I think $65K and "NO RESERVE!" in the same ad is redundant. Very nice car, but for that price you could find a nice Caribbean ragtop.
