Hello all. I am a new Packard owner and new to the forum. Ive spent time searching for tips on a basic tune up on my Super 8. I have found "tune up kits" on ebay and what not that come with new wires, rotor, cap, plugs, points...are these any good? The car has a rebuilt engine with less then 5k on the rebuild, but it has been sitting for about 2 years. It starts and drives fine, I just want to dial it in and make and to what I can to make her run as good as she can.
Thanks!

On this website you can find parts numbers for most of the items you need. NAPA or any other competent parts store shoud be able to get the parts for you. Failing that, the usual suspects, i.e. Kanter or Merritt will help you.

I had a 1950 Eight for many years that I drove to many faraway places. They are wonderful , underated road cars
