'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

The restored "twin" to my car, a 1955 Clipper Deluxe in Moonstone Tourmaline, is back up for sale. Only asking $12,500 which is half the original asking price. Says 25k spent on work, though it's mostly on the big things... engine, trans, upholstery, paint. Little stuff like radio, clock, antenna are still not working. But not a bad price overall.

The guy said the engine/trans was done c. 2017 by a guy in Belton MO. Wonder if anyone here knows who that would have been.

Am almost tempted to buy it but I have no space and it's still more than I'm willing to spend at this time, since I'm working on my Deluxe.

Rotting 55 Custom in NY. Asking 1300, but surely worth no more than 500. Somehow even the suspension is broken and random parts have been picked out of the interior.

Congratulations! It looks like a good project, especially as it's a Deluxe which means it has the 327 engine.

Sad that that car was surely pretty nice before it was parked outside for many years. The door panels look surprisingly good for the condition.

Definitely a lot of good parts on it, the bumpers look surprisingly good too, if it were around here I’d go see what I could salvage.
