Upholstery

Hello everyone,

I am brand new to the site and I purchased a 1949 Packard Eight 23rd Series a couple of months ago. Can anyone help me with upholstery answers?

Is there anyone out there that sells upholstery fabric that is like the original that I have in my car already?

The inside of my car is original, back seat is in great shape but the front seat needs to be redone. If I can't find fabric like the original that means I need to do both seats. I would hate to do that and lose the original look of the car.

Just looking to buy the fabric and have the upholstery done locally.

Thanks for your help!

Joe

Hirsch has reproduced some Packard fabric in various patterns. One might be appropriate.hirschauto.com/bedcloth.htm

SMS, located in Canby, Oregon has a lot of the old NOS fabric. They might have some original. If not, they do offer a service to reproduce fabric patterns but it's not cheap or necessarily quick.smsautofabrics.com/

LeBaron Bonneylebaronbonney.com/ also has some older patterns.

Thank you!!

It looks like SMS is going to be my best choice. I live about 150 miles from them, so that won't be a problem. I will call them tomorrow and get some prices.

Thanks Again,

Joe
