Experimenting with Photography on Packards

Hopefully this thread will encourage others to share pictures of their Packards across the world wide web. Personally, I get much satisfaction from my 400 and I am thankful for a supportive wife that understands me.

I took these images over several hours here at our home Arizona during the setting afternoon sun. My intention was to isolate some of the interesting traits that all of our Packards naturally exhibit.

Enjoy!

Thanks Craig............truth be told I never get tired of looking at my 400. She arguably is a mistress of sorts it seems. I pinch myself sometimes knowing that all of this was made possible because my Micha supported me thoroughly throughout the restoration process. She remains my biggest cheerleader. I am a lucky man.

Such a beautiful 400!

Your shots certainly highlight some of the best aspects of her, against a beautiful Arizona Background.

I hope to see it in Hemmings Classic Car Magazine someday. Your car is just screaming for a cover picture & big spread article.

Kevin,

I'm particularly taken with one of your shots, see below. The reflection in the 'Dagmar' of the headlight is great. My compliments to you on your creativity and vision.

Excellent shots, Kevin. You have the benefit of the great light out there in Arizona. I love the way you focus on various elements of the 400. I need to try that with the Bumblebee!

You can make a lot of really neat things from the parts left over after you rebuild your engine ...

Nice pictures Kevin. Thought I'd share a couple pics of my '55 Constellation.

That looks like a fish-eye lens picture. Way cool! It also looks like a step-down Hudson.
