max merritt 60 a pair nos

If the price listings are accurate, Max definitely has the better deal @ $60 a pair. Not sure if he has a misprint but Kanter's catalogs all say $60 EACH.

One thing on Max's description is interesting. He says his are the original metal clad type. Is my thinking off because to me that would be the composition type gasket like the earlier inline gaskets. All I've ever seen on V8s is the thin solid metal embossed type.

Hh. I just ordered a pair.. they are nos.. i have tbe composite. Type. Best gaskets. ..they are thicker...going to take picture for blog..

mine came from MAX. they were metal.

OEM head gaskets were metal.

Wow! at $60 each, I better go through my stock.

FWIW, I've got some of the rare big bore OEM steel gaskets. For anyone building larger than 4.125", these are the way to go.

i am 60 over, but i already bought these, from what i remember the heads gaskets go up to 60 over. the stock ones,
