I have original bill of sale dated 11-21-1951, owner ID card, Packard Owner's Service Policy and 30,000 mile Guarantee for one 1951 Packard 200, S/N 2492-Q20903, Engine # J270130.
Send me proof that you are the owner of this vehicle, I'll be glad to give you this paper work.
Car was purchased in Nampa Idaho by a couple who lived in Melba Idaho.

I'm trying to locate a black 1951 200 4dr sedan with a continental kit, four bottle (sea shells) openers on each back fender. As I remember it, it was low milage, well equipted, but no radio. Last known sale by a Caldwell Idaho Dentist.
Thanks, Mack

Mack,

Was the dentist Doc Gulley? If so the '41 120 Club Coupe I had at one time was formerly owned by him. When I met him back in 2007 Doc had about a dozen or so Packards he was willing to sell. Included one like you described, my note at the time, "Black 4 Door Auto W/- Connie Kit & Only 25k Original Miles! USD20,000.00" and took a few pic's. Included were anti-vaporlock "devices" on the fuel line to the carb!

That is the car!
You saw the car in it's natural surroundings. Archie had 22 Packards in various stages of repair and only one battery. Favorite saying; "you can only drive one at a time"
Many years ago we went to a National Packard meet in Oakland California and were supposed to caravan. Well I had to work and could not leave on the planned departure date.
When I finally arrived, the talk amoungst the attendees was about the black Packard that passed everyone on the highway at high rate of speed. That was Archie - he knew nothing under 80 mph. At that time the car had the original tires from the factory. As far as I know the car has the same tires.
I think that I know who has the 41 you mentioned - he posts on facebook.
Thanks for sharing this info.
If anyone knows where this car is, I'd sure like to know.
Thanks, Mack

Was that the meet at the Claremont in Berkeley? If so, I was there with my 1952 Henney-Packard Nu-3-Way which won best in class and my turquoise and white1953 Patrician was also there being driven by a friend from Australia. I don’t recall the car in question but there was a lot going on so i must have missed it.

Mack,
Highly unlikely it is the same '41. Mine was a 120. When I was there in 2007 Doc Gulley also had a '41 110 Coupe, here's what I noted about it at the time: "'41 Blue 110 Coupe W/- O/D USD$15K". But.....the main reason it wouldn't be "my" '41 is that I live in Australia and imported the car from the US. In fact I bought it from a guy, Randy, who'd bought it from Doc about a year earlier. Randy took me to meet Doc who'd owned the 120 Coupe from the time he was a dental student in SF in 1961. This way I could meet the guy who had a lot of history with the 120. First photo is the 110, last photo is the 120 in Australia.

Yes it was. I just now found the pamplet stating it was thw 13th anniverary. 1983 was a good year - whow, how time flies. You wouldn"t be Don Pierson? I was driving a black 53 Cavalier (300) at the time and it has disappeared off the face of this earth. Restoring this car burnt me out and it took a while to get back into the groove.

Don't own a Packard now, but looking for a post war vintage.

Here are my two from the event and I have many others of the meet as a whole. Would it be appropriate to start a thread with them?

That is great! Were you there or was it owned then by someone else? Anyway, here is another photo of it closeup and one of the parking lot farther away with your 21st series at the lower right, taken from my hotel room.
