Is there any manufacturer making artillery wheels and a replica Packard hub cap or are there any hub caps that fit some of the aftermarket artillery wheels like those made by U.S. Wheel or Wheel Vintiques?

Thanks
Rock

You asking about the wood-spoke senior artillery wheels offered 1936 and earlier (17 inch and larger) or the later smaller diameter stamped steel artillery wheels?

No one making repros of either artillery wheel type that I'm aware of.

Rock - I can answer, sort of. negative on using Vintiques wheels, unless you want to fabricate some sort of hubcap. As you are resto-rodding, there are a couple, limited, options for wheels, depending on axles and front suspension setups you choose. Call me at your convenience, evenings best.

Ok. Thanks.

David has it right. I am looking for aftermarket steel artillery type wheels with a Packard hub cap reproduction. No looking for original just something that might resemble original to the uninitiated.

This guy has a '53 that he bagged and put Detroit Wheels on. You may want to get in touch with him as he's probably done all of the homework already.Bagged and dropped 53 Packard

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.
