Ebay Motors dealer parting out several Packards

A salvage yard (French Lake Auto Parts located in Annadale, Minnesota) is parting out several Packards on eBay and maybe there is something you can use. Inquire with the vendor about parts not listed. He is listing individual parts multiple times, but does have the complete cars minus whatever has been sold to date:

1955 Clipper Deluxe Sedan:

1952 200 Deluxe Sedan:

1952 Mayfair Hardtop:

1956 Clipper Custom sedan:

1955 Patrician:

1951 Patrician

1938 Six Touring Sedan. Restorer told me glove box won't work because of a large dent, but this car actually looks too good to part out:

The taillights on that 55 Deluxe are worth $400 right there. Holy moly. And is that a 70's Ford truck radiator under the hood? I think it is...

I agree, that 38 looks pretty darn clean. Unless the 'coons got to it or it's already missing a drivetrain, it's hard to see why it wouldn't be a decent project.

'55 400. Needs aesthetic parts put back on, and electrical system sorted.
'55 Clipper Deluxe. Engine is stuck-ish.

I know. I was a little surprised that the '38 Sedan was being parted out. My 1940 110 sedan (my first Packard, purchased in 1980) looked considerably worse than this car. Took over 3 years of work to get it back on the road.

The other cars certainly do look like they would be better as parts cars than restoration projects

Some people just want profit so selling individual parts might yield more money than selling intact.

My '40 is worth far more in parts than I paid for it and I had numerous offers from people that would do just that.

It's an intact original.

It'll more or less stay that way.
