There are also a couple of threads over on the PAC Site which have dash paint/treatment as their topic. Although not specific to '40 110's.
Thread 1 Thread 2 Thread 3 Also had a look at the first 10 pages(of 45) in the Pre-War Forum here, found nothing about dash colours. Didn't check the other 35 pages though.

Thanks for all your help! By reading at the threads you suggested (though mostly refered to 1941 models), it would seem it is not absolutely clear what they used... but by looking at the list you posted, I guess it is pretty clear that the cars used simulated wood trim, in either Sapele Mahogany Tan (I suppose the dark color) or Aspen Mottled, (which I guess is the grayish color).
I would have loved to find body color as an option! Thanks for posting the information. Victor
