Upholstery for 1937 120C convertible.

I've just purchased a 1937 120C convertible. It's yellow, with red vinyl upholstery.
I'd prefer to reupholster in broadcloth fabric, but want to keep it as authentic as possible.
Can anybody tell me if fabric was an option on the convertibles? I see in the sales brochure that there were 3 broadcloth offerings, but these may have referred just to sedans.
Cheers, from New Zealand!

I thought all open cars had leather seating in that era?

You're probably right. Leather would be better for the rumble seat.
Is anyone aware of what the standard colours were?

G'day johnrex,
Cheers from across the ditch and to PackardInfo. I'll leave it to the experts to advise on upholstery options and instead invite you to include your '37 120C Convertible in the Packard Owners Registry.

By the way, are you a member of the NZ Packard Club? If not, here's a link to their Site - South Pacific Packard Club.

From the the sales data book for 1937, standard colors for convertibles were blue, gray, green, tan and black depending on paint scheme. Red available at extra charge with any paint scheme.
