I cant find the thread that has the link to someone who just put one of these in ,I think it was australia ,
I just put in the pertronix unit ,it was a snap to install in the generator ,one wire goes through the side of the distributer housing to the negative terminal on the coil,
and the other goes to the "ignition" ,heres where I need help ;the ignition switch has several poles ,one is i for ignition but I think theres c for coil so I am not sure which one to hook it to ,
I can release the switch by turning the bezel to the left 1/4 turn I think and the switch drops back to make it easier to get to ,but which pole ,hmmmmm dont want to blow the thing up .

the instructions say to run the positive wire from the coil to a ground ,what about the lead that comes from the existing harness to the positive on the coil ,that WAS attached to the positibve coil lead ,would that one have been to a ground so I could leave it hooked up like it was ?
I have to reset the timing after the hook up ,
then for the big test ,hope someone has done this who can tell me which ignition pole to use !
