1927 fuel tank (3 openings: gas cap, sending unit, drain plug and one baffle) has old interior coating which needs to be removed and/or redone. Tank restorer plans to use Red-Kote? Good or bad? Other suggestions? Brant

Red-Kote itself should be fine, if properly applied. But how does he intend to do it? Typically doing an internally compartmented or baffled tank proves unsuccessful in the usual cleaning and coating methods, more often than not it needs to opened (usually the top cut off) to be properly done.

Thanks Owen-dyneto. Taking tank next week and will discuss method. Will proceed with Red-Kote if tank can be successfully cleaned.

Usually Mal does this, but I thought I would give it a try and had success. Here are the re-oriented photos.

Brant for including your '27 Six Ambulance/Commissary in the Registry. Note, you can edit your entry to change the description from being a sedan.
And John for re-orienting the pic's!
