The length of the hood be ween a 120 & a 110 is different. Also I think the sheet metal from 37 to 38 is different.

First thing, the 1938 springs are rated for the lighter 6-cylinder engine. Also, the 1938 has a shorter wheelbase than the 1937 (difference in length is the front of the car), so probably little can be used on your 1937. Best thing is to check the parts manual to match-up part numbers between the two years. It may be available for downloading here in the Packard Literature and Manuals section.

I will pass then since most parts will not fit. If anyone wants it its on Seattle Craigslist, search for packard front clip. He has more 110 parts too.
Thanks, Willie

You guys keep saying front axle side to side.... But it's independent suspension and there is no axle in the front. Besides the springs....would the rest of the suspension and steering not work?
I guess when I think axle I think something more like the rear end of the car. And the front I think spindles.

I know it's the wrong terminology but I wanted Willie to understand what I was talking about.
About the changing out the springs that's a gr8 question. I don't know the answer and I don't have a parts book handy.
