Hello! I am trying to identify someone who has deep experience with prewar classics, and who can perform a pre sale inspection on a Packard in the San Francisco Bay Area. If anybody has worked with someone who is particularly knowledgeable, I would really appreciate the information. Thanks!

What year and body style?

And, if you purchase the Prewar Classic Packard you referred to, or another Packard for thar matter, I invite you to include it in PackardInfo's Packard Vehicle Registry.

Also, while loath to "dob someone in" who might be able to look at a Packard in San Francisco, two come to mind - Mike aka su8overdrive or Jon aka Dell although he is in Sacramento, is that close enough?

I recently used www.lemonsquad.com for a ppi on a 1985 Mustang SVO. They made a nice 115 page report of the car with tons of pictures. -Certianly they won't be packard experts, but they can be "local boots on the ground" for you to look at a car.
