How about helping us with some comments on the condition of the motor and drivetrain (especially the engine), the body wood, chassis and suspension, and also any recent major services performed?

G'day glaser31,
to PackardInfo, see you're in Denmark. Presume your value question would be if the car were in the USA? Which I'd leave to others, more experienced and knowledgeable in such matters, to respond to. But....could you please include your '31 645 Limo in the Packard Owner's Registry here on PackardInfo?

Dear Glaser:
To me a car like yours is more valuable than a restored car. The only setback is that original cars are very limited use vehicles because they should not be out in the weather. It doesn't take long for moisture to get under the old lacquer paint and start rusting. A car painted with modern paint doesn't require that restriction. Turnquist had a mint original 39 twelve that never went out in the sun. I saw it in his garage and in his book and that was it. Realistically the mint original interior is worth $35,000. Sure the leather shows age but with care it should last another 20 years. A year or two ago a mint original (and I mean mint original) 903 sedan sold instantly for $72,000. So with the right buyer $50,000 is probably a good starting point for your car. From there a new buyer has to think about wheels $2000+ each, paint if he wants to go on vacations with it, and a complete mechanical review (It looks like the springs are sagging for starters, and those lubricators cause a lot of problems as well). That should put him into well over $100,000 invested.
