Hood latch on my car appears to have had some "repair" done to it sometime in the past.
It looks like crap, and i would like to remedy it.
I believe this is number 422209 in the parts list, (correct me if i am wrong please).

Looking for the original dimension of the opening in the plate, vs the "weld repair" opening i have now.

These are common and the same for all 1951-1954 Packard and Packard Clipper cars. I have one if you want to buy it - PM sent.
