The site's 1948-50 Service Index - namely, the , Engine section - list a topic on "Engine Number Suffix Letters" for 22nd Series, which is covered in SC Vol. 22, No. 12, (p. 47). Don't be bashful about nosing around the site, beyond the forums; you'll find plenty of of good information on your car, here - new and old.
