Found the posts below in the Chatroom. Will PM MamaKitty about the posts.
Craig's question certainly is a good way to start. And another question might be - When did your grand father chauffeur for the Packard family? [MamaKitty] 2:33 am: I am looking for good books on the Packard car and the Packard family. I have recently [MamaKitty] 2:39 am: discovered that my grand father chauffeured some of the family when they were staying at the summer home on lake in ashville N.Y. [Craig] 3:41 am: You still there? [Craig] 3:42 am: What year or series are you looking for? EDIT - MamaKitty, a good start would be Packard by Beverley Rae Kimes, considered to be the "Bible" about Packards. Copies are usually available on eBay and Amazon.

BH: I also think it would be a good idea for you to start the Packard Bookshelf here.

I'm sure BigKev will be more than willing to accomodate, but we should be mindful of his busy schedule.
Again, I'll jump-start the process with those titles from my own bookshelf, but (in keeping with the spirit of this wonderful site) I'd like to see this be a participative feature. That is, other members should be able to provide essential details on additional titles so newcomers can locate a copy. I've started compiling the data from my text files into a spreadsheet format that Kev will be able to import en masse. I already have JPEGs of the covers, but will need some time to polish up a synopsis for each title to compelte the package. Once the feature is up, I'll post an APB for a few other titles that I'm aware of (but don't have). Please stand by.

"Mama Kitty:" What years did your grandfather chauffeur some of the Packard family in or around Asheville, NC? This is very interesting. Are you sure their name was Packard, or might it have been some of the executives of the Packard Company instead? Thank you.

All -
The spreadsheet is laid out with all the basic data, but I'm still working on refining a synopsis for each title from the notes in my old text file - trying to keep them relatively brief and obejctive. I don't have much time to work on that through the week, but expect to have it all ready to send to Big Kev this weekend. In addition to a synopsis and an image of the cover, the data I have for each title will (where available) include: Title (obvious) By (author/editor) Format (hardcover vs. paperback) Pages (a count - minus covers) ISBN (International Standard Book Number) - an identification number that is uniquely assigned to a title and edition. Publisher (obvious) Date (published and edition) Status (In Print or OUT OF PRINT) List Price (and source?) Am I missing anything or or is this too much?
