Bill,
You have your answer, thanks to the other guys who responded. But I have a question for you. The pic's you posted of your radiator show the inlet neck on the right side of the top tank. Is that right, or have the pic's been reversed?

Mal,
My 120 is a right hand drive vehicle, may be thats why the filler cap is on my right plus it came like this?. Mal, on your packard there is a plate with details of the vehicle, would it be possible for you to take a photo of it so that i can have one made for my car, then i could fill in my details. As my plate never came with the car. I would need a nice clear picture so that you can read all what packard wrote on the plate. (just a thought)Bill.

O_D posted this linkpulferandwilliams.com/products.html some time back so if Mal has a picture of the printing or stamping format, you can buy the plates ready made. There are good quality pictures of the plates in their Packard catalog if you do need to have someone try to reproduce there. Believe Packards International also sells the plates, and if you are looking to do fine detail, Joe Santana found a place that sells the metal stamps in a very close of maybe even correct typeface. I think he mentioned the name of the company in his blog. Attach file: (50.47 KB)

Bill,
Found a pic of Noel's radiator top tank, it's a RHD Packard. Have to have another look for the ID plate pic.

Hi Mal,
I see why you asked now! yes what a differance in the set up as my filler is on the right and the thermostat for the grill is on the left - At this time it is blanked off. untill i get one?, and they cost a lot of dosh!! But look at where Noel's Radiator overflow pipe is? By the way Guys, My Radiator takes a 4 1/2 lb Max-pressure Cap-at least i managed to get one with the help of my Mates. Bill.

Bill,
I know I have pic's of the plate on Noel's '39 120 but it's a matter of finding them because I have over 20,000 maybe 30,000 pic's! Noel has one of the reproduction plates so the numbering/lettering may not be exactly as it was back in 1939. Bear with me while I try to find that needle in the haystack!

Bill,
Rather than look through the haystack, ducked down to the workshop and took some pic's. Awkward to get decent ones because the plate is on the side of the cowl with the sidemount shielding it from head on shots. And, because this is re-pro plate, best to use the Packard font type.
